During his first trip to India, Tikki Masala was inspired by the intensity and variety of authentic Indian classical music. He mixed the sounds of Indian classical instruments such as Sitar, Tabla, Santur, Faith, Tampura, Harmony and Singing ... with percussion, synthesizers and percussion.
Records he made all over India - bhajans, kirtans, mantras, street musicians, jams, concerts, nature and temples - he mixes with hypnotic electronic sounds, rhythms. A mixture of world music, rhythms, tribal, ethnic fusion and dance music gathered from around the world.
Thanks to his own label Masala Records, Tikki has already released several albums.
Masala in Hindi means a mixture of herbs to create a variety of tastes and dishes. The name of Tikki Masala was born after his first trip to India. He uses sounds collected from around the world in his Dj-sets, masala Indian and electronic sounds, now turned into masala sounds from around the world.
His interest in dance came when he discovered that Ecstatic Dance and many other forms of dance have a positive impact on personal, emotional, physical and spiritual growth. He started performing as Dj, and now he plays a lot of his compositions in Ecstatic Dance sessions around the world. For most of the year he travels to Goa and travels through Asia. Organizing Ecstatic Dance in India, Thailand and Europe, Tikki has found a new passion that he wants to share with you.
